Overview

A festive pattern collection designed to capture the cozy, nostalgic spirit of the Christmas and New Year season. The series blends warm winter motifs with soft hand-drawn illustrations to create a comforting holiday atmosphere.

Process

I began by defining the key seasonal elements I wanted to highlight and created a hand-drawn mood board to guide the visual direction. My aim was to balance traditional holiday aesthetics with a more personal, illustrated touch.

The patterns combine classic diagonal checks, simple textures, and character-driven motifs. I worked with a warm palette of evergreen, muted gold, soft beige, and deep red to establish a rich and inviting tone throughout the collection.

After developing the main patterns, I expanded the project into complementary sticker sheets and postcard ideas. This allowed the collection to function as a cohesive holiday package suited for wrapping paper, stationery, and festive print products.
