In this project, I explored the design of both physical and digital tickets for a fictional series of lemon grove events. The goal was to create a cohesive, seasonal ticket family that feels charming, fresh, and visually engaging.
This piece is part of the weekly design challenges I set for myself to push my skills into areas I haven’t tried before. For this week, I focused on ticket design, a format that blends layout, hierarchy, illustration, and branding in a compact space.
I began by imagining a simple design brief to narrow the direction: a lemon grove hosting seasonal and occasional events, each requiring its own ticket type. From there, I defined a set of passes, Day Pass, Picnic Pass, Workshop Pass, Seasonal Pass, and Golden Hour Pass, each with its own access details and
For the visual approach, I chose delicate, hand-drawn lemon branch illustrations to give the tickets an elegant, organic feel. Each pass type was color-coded to make them easy to distinguish while still belonging to the same family. Both the physical tickets and mobile versions carried the same illustrations and palettes, adapted to their respective sizes and proportions.
Seen together, the ticket system becomes a bright, airy collection that communicates warmth and the laid-back atmosphere of a sunny grove, exactly the mood I envisioned for these events.
